We aim to understand how the immune system evolves in the context of human disease: to do this, we build computational methods for the analysis of high throughput genomic and immunological data.

Our research focus is in understanding the interaction between immunity and cancer, and engineering immunotherapies that can amplify the anticancer host immune response, through the lens of computational and systems immunology. Our research goal is to develop cost-effective cancer immunotherapies that are broadly applicable and accessible to diverse patient populations.

We are looking for motivated candidates with interest in computational biology/bioinformatics, machine learning, immunology to join our team! We are affiliated with the Biomolecular Engineering Department and the Genomics Institute at UCSC.
